Children arrive from 0800, many using the network of school transport organised by Stafford Grammar School

Assembly takes place four mornings per week – once a fortnight SPS pupils join Y7 & Y8 children from the senior school

Eight lessons of 35/40 minutes length are timetabled each day (see learning)

A cooked lunch – included in the fees – is available in the SGS canteen. There is a choice of two hot meals daily and a selection of filled rolls. (see menus). An afternoon snack is also provided.

After the school day ends at 3.40 p.m. the children may stay until 5 p.m. to join in with club activities or to complete their homework.

FLUENCY IN ENGLISH
In order to cope with the academic and social demands of Stafford Preparatory School, pupils should be confident English speakers. If tuition in English as an Additional Language (EAL) is required, this can be arranged at the parent’s expense.
SCHOOL’S CONTRACTUAL TERMS & CONDITION
Copies will be made available to parents as part of the admissions process.
SCHOOL FEES (from January, 2011) - YEARS 3 & 4: £2,801 per term. YEARS 5 & 6: £2,912 per term. Fees are inclusive of school lunch.
