Key Stage 1 Expansion
Key Stage 1 Expansion - Years 1 & 2 Planned for September, 2012

The governors and senior management team of SPS/SGS have been planning for the next phase of SPS’ expansion: the opening of classes for Key Stage 1 pupils. In May, following a one day visit from a member of Her Majesty's Inspectorate, our plans for the extension of our provision to include children of Year 1 and Year 2 age were given the green light by the Department for Education. It is our intention to admit children of Key Stage 1 age from September, 2012. A new two classroom building will be in place early in 2012 and this will enhance and extend our current teaching accommodation.
The school is now accepting applications from parents who have children of KS1 age. In the first instance there will be a maximum of 15 places available in each age group.
